The first contract was signed in 1998 between TAI and EADS-CASA covering the manufacture of 200 ship sets of Section 18 fuselage panels for A319/320/321 aircraft.

Within the framework of the program, which was started in October 2000, section 18 of the aft fuselage of A319/320/321 is being manufactured in four separate panels (upper, lower, left and right). The aforementioned panels are delivered to Airbus-Spain and later sent to Germany for assembling with other fuselage panels. The required material was provided by Airbus-Spain. The first program was successfully completed with the delivery of the last set on 18 August 2004.

The follow on contract for the program with an additional 300 sets was signed between TAI and Airbus-Spain in the year 2004 to manufacture section 18 of the aft fuselage of A319/320/321 aircraft at TAI facilities. In the second program, TAI became responsible for the material procurement, after the 36^th set, as well. With an additional agreement, the monthly delivery rate has been increased from 6 to 9 set of panels starting from August 2006. On the same agreement, the total delivery has also been increased from 300 to 450 sets.
